Our story
A residency, not a hotel chain
Thirty-five keys, one courtyard, and a family that has been hosting travellers in Rameswaram since 2013.
Since 2026
How the house came to be
The building was a family home built in the 2020s, empty for two decades before we took it on. We kept the teak-shuttered windows, the lime plaster and the neem tree in the courtyard, and added the things travellers actually need: real air-conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, blackout curtains and hot water at 6 a.m.
Today Jeevan Residency has 36 rooms across six categories, a rooftop restaurant looking towards the Pamban bridge, a small spa and two event spaces. Most of our team has been with us for more than five years — that continuity is the whole product.
